Why people think that we are stupid to buy into the idea to buy houses for $100?

Deal Score0

TV commercials of this kind makes me laugh, and alot the “get millionare in 10 days” type workshops. The only people who get rich is the onnes selling it. Do they really think they can target the educated and smart audience to buy real state for pennies? C`MON!!!

It’s the same reason so many people believe that all those pills you see on TV will really make them lose weight, or they can really make $ 60,000 a year with a massage therapy diploma. We all want something— riches, beauty, etc— without having to work for it. And a good “get rich quick” scheme is irresistable!

Here is something you might be surprised to hear…you actually can own a house for pennies on the dollar. I am not completely sure how it all works, but you can purchase a tax lien certificate on a home at like an auction or something (it might be different depending on where you live). From my understanding, you can pay the property tax on a house that the homeowner didn’t pay and if they don’t pay it back in a certain amount of time, then you are the legal owner…sweet huh? I’m sure there are more details to it, but that is pretty much the gist. It, by no means, is a perfect investment strategy, but done the right way can make bunches of money or obtain a house on the cheap.

So, these “experts” that try to tell us that you can own a house for so cheap may be telling us the truth…just not the whole truth and that means all of the risks.

Depending on the state, tax lien certificates are offered and you could get a house for as little as $ 100. Also, tax lien certificates are good investments. You can earn up to 16% on an initial investment as little as $ 100. I don’t know of any bank that will give you that return on your money. Look into it. Good Luck!
