if an incident occurs in your home such as fire, tree lands on it,or even a car drives thru it the insurance company will pay for it to be fixed

To insure your home and contents from fires, casualties, and lawsuits. Mostly it’s to give the agent big bucks so he can retire in his 30’s

To protect a homeowner from a financial loss they cannot afford to absorb themselves.

Just like every OTHER kind of insurance.

home insurance protects both the physical property and your personal liability. One never knows if either your physical real and or personal property will be damaged or if someone will be hurt as a result of your activities either on the property or out and about. With that thought in mind purchase of a homeowners insurance policy for a known exact amount of money called the annual premium removes that unknown potential loss from your budget and substitutes a known fixed cost.

Ergo you sleep well at night.

you are required to have it if you have a mortgage on the house in order for th mortgage company protects her financial interest in case of damage to the house.
other circumstances or causes of damages are wind, hail, water damage(certain cases only covered), fire, falling objects, vehicles….
