What do you know… they are prominently featured on “rippoffreport.com….

You can’t force the credit bureaus and/or a creditor to remove the entries from ones report just because you think it should be removed. Most of the time it is the worst idea to dispute accounts in hopes that they won’t be reaffirmed… It is like telling the collection agencies “Hello… Here I am with new address and everything you were looking for in years past to find me….” They will love you for disputing the old accounts because you just gave them all the info they needed to contact you and reaffirm the debt you owed and that would have otherwise fell off your report in a couple of years. It only takes 7 1/2 years and you were probably just a year or two away from that deadline and now… they got you again.

Nobody can force the Credit Bureaus into removing anything that is true and correct. Whether it is paid off or just plain old discharged debt…. it will stay on your report until it is time to fall off.

All and I mean ALL of these businesses are only in the business of making money-yours. Money you could use to pay back your creditors.
