what banks are helping customers the most to modify their mortgage loans?

i am closing my accounts with b of a and want to switch to a bank that is helping people.

    That is a very good question, but let me tell ya that a lot of banks won’t except you if your credit is down hill or if you owe more than what your house is worth. Also you have to be at least 4 months behind on your mortgage payments before you are considered. Another thing, I would hire a lawyer. It might be expensive, but well worth it in the long run. It is easier to file for bankruptcy then trying to modify your mortgage loan. Hopefully this will help you.

    There appears to be no better or worse…. it is just a terribly difficult and time consuming process created by governmental regulators …. so many properties and people just do not meet the governments guidelines. Few of those qualified, stay the course, to finish the process.
