Should we treat other institutions like we treat health care?

Deal Score0

You buy fire insurance so firefighters will put out the fire started in your house. If your not covered, they don’t put out the fire.

You buy living insurance so if someone shoots you or tries killing you, the police can arrest him. If your not covered the police don’t help.

However, if someone hurts you, or your house burns down, your insurance premiums go up.

This is the fix to all our problems, because socialist police and firefighters will drive up the cost and make it to where we get less coverage. Correct? (according to insurance companies)

Taxes pay for police and firefighters, not health care.

    Ooops
You don’t know that insurance industry was given an exemption from anti-trust laws and they don’t operate in a free market capitalist system.
They may have to go back to capitalism if the Republicans can’t help them keep their monopolies.
The modern Republican party is socialist and thinks that capitalism is wrong.
