How to REMOVE a tax lien from your credit report

Brenton Blawat replied 5 years ago

Great Video. I am currently going through the process and it is taking
almost two months to get anything back from the IRS. I know they are
notoriously SLOOOOOW when it comes to this stuff. You should also speak to
how you send the release to the credit companies to get it off your “Public
Record”. I really wish that I would have known about this program last year
when I paid off my tax debt but all good information!´╗┐

Great info. Thanks very much.
I don’t have my 668(Y) but I do have my 668(Z) Tax Lien Released form after
paying in full my OIC. Can this be used in it place? There is information
listed on the 668(Z) form such as a serial # and filed dates but I’m not
sure if they are the same ones as those contained in the 668(Y). Otherwise
I will need to go to my local IRS office and request a copy.´╗┐

I paid my tax lien in May of 2008, and I don’t have the 668 form. How can
I get this form or can I submit the form 12277 without the 668?

Thanks´╗┐

I received IRS form 668z after my completion of the “fresh start” program.
Do I need to provide the IRS with the 668Y or just 12277 with a copy of
Form 668Z to request the removal off of my reports? Thanks ´╗┐

There are 3 IRS tax liens on my credit report and I have two of the three
668(Y)’s and all three 668(Z)’s. Do I need to try and get the other 668(Y)
that I am missing? Can I just send copies of the 668(Z) for the one that I

Dave Sullivan replied 5 years ago

yes you would use this form. and once you get the plan in place you will be
able to use the fresh start program to get it removed off your new husbands
credit report like it was never there. I will be having another video
coming up with someone that actually went through this process last month
and will be sharing their experience. please subscribe so you don’t miss
it.

What form do I use to get rid of a NJ state tax lien?

Hector Morales replied 5 years ago

Dave, I currently have a payment agreement and I been under this agreement
for over 5 years now paying on time. To request to have the lien remove
from my credit report on form 12277 question 11, in my case do I need to
checkmark box 2 and 3 or just box 5?

Dave Sullivan replied 5 years ago

Sorry this is only for the IRS tax lien…. I am not sure how IL handles
them…

Dave Sullivan replied 5 years ago

watch the new video on this it walks you through the process if you don’t
have any documents.

I need your help. I have talked to so many people and keep getting the run
around čÖü I have a lien that was placed by the State of South Carolina. It
has been paid in full for a while now and I have the Satisfaction
Documentation. Do State Tax Liens fall under this as well? If so what do I
need to do? Thank you!

Dave Sullivan replied 5 years ago

yes go through the same process. if that will not work then go to the
repositories and dispute it.

Dave Sullivan replied 5 years ago

ultimateone, It should come off in 7 years and six months… you should
ignore it. it will not impact your financing. make sure the rest of your
credit report is strong and you will be fine . Congratz on the new home…
