Hello, I am ready to file chapter seven I am reiterating my car and at home. My house has a second mortgage, line of credit. My payments go all the capital and not interest. I keep this loan for my house to get. I have approximately $ 15,000.00. My question is after I filed, I will be able to get a personal loan through my credit union, this second mortgages to pay, so I can pay the most are essential for: (My bankruptcy is for all my expenses Medical, my last surgery took away from the cancerous cysts in the belly of my costs a fortune, that my insurance does not pick sucky, and all other medical projects)

    Your best bet is to talk to your credit union and explain the situation. They are the only ones that can give you a final answer.

    Now, if they do give you the loan, they are going to charge a high interest rate. Be prepared for that. However, you won’t be able to get the loan until after you get the discharge papers, which can take 6 months. Be prepared to pay the payments on the second mortgage until you can get the loan.
