Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud was not chosen at random by the Louis Vuitton houseto mark its entry into the world of perfumery. His father was himself a perfumer and it was by his side that he learned the basics of the olfactory world. The day after obtaining his baccalaureate, Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud began working in a factory in Grasse where he learned to distill flowers. Barely 18 years old, he made his first formula. Nevertheless, it took him time and experience to come up with the talent that today possesses. He then worked for 22 years at the service of Firmenich, until being recruited by Louis Vuitton in 2012. From there, he traveled the world for four years in search of the finest raw materials. He made a collection of 7 perfumes that we discovered in 2016.

Un jeune homme élégant fait son entrée dans une salle luxuriante pleine de sobriété. De journalistes et des photographes s’empressent d’interviewer le jeune homme. Au loin, une jeune femme observe la salle et jette son regard sur le jeune homme. Une fois photographié, le jeune homme fait un tour de piste. La jeune femme, elle, se cache, pour s’emparer (de son arme de séduction) de son parfum Coco Mademoiselle et mettre quelques gouttes de cette essence dans le creux de son cou. L’homme l’aperçoit “enfin” lorsqu’elle descend à toute allure les marches des escaliers. Elle fait une entrée fracassante devant le jeune homme, qui est le seul à la rebrandr, elle ne le quitte pas du regard et lui non plus. Elle porte une robe longue blanche qui contraste avec le reste de la pièce et des personnes toutes vêtu d’habits noirs. Le jeune homme court pour attraper le parfum avant qu’il ne se brise au sol. Il lève la tête pour le lui redonner mais la jeune femme a disparu. Se tenant à sa hauteur de l’autre côté de la pièce, le jeune vient à elle pour lui rendre son Perfume, lorsqu’une femme vient se mettre entre eux, Keira disparait à nouveau derrière la femme. Quelques jours plus tard, au lever du soleil, le réalisateur nous amène dans Paris, sur le pont des arts. Le jeune homme est au téléphone, il se promène sur le pont lorsqu’il aperçoit un hors bord traversant la seine à toute vitesse… A bord du hors-bord, l’homme n’en croit pas ses yeux lorsqu’il aperçoit la jeune femme conduisant le hors-bord. Le jeune homme se trouvant sur le pont ne la quitte pas du regard. Elle joue avec lui, en faisant des allers/retours avec le hors-bord, puis finit par s’arrêter pour fixer son regard dans le sien … La campagne publicitaire montre que le parfum Coco Mademoiselle à une intention première celle de laisser un souvenir de son passage lors d’une rencontre.

On observe un véritable contraste entre le blanc, l’argenté et le noir (costumes noirs des personnages et du jeune homme, robe blanche,) et les couleurs sombres (costume noir du jeune homme, robe blanche de la jeune femme, les couleurs argenté qui surplombe la salle, les couleurs plus chaudes et plus douces pour la scène en extérieur) le réalisateur donne un côté à la fois tendre et ténébreuse à l’histoire qu’il raconte.
Les couleurs mise en avant dans la publicité représentent celles du parfum : couleur claire, rosé, cadre doré et bouchon noir.

La Campagne de Pub est accompagnée de la chanson “She’s not there” du groupe The Zombies.
