If you go to another bank, would they know you got turned down somewhere else? Does it go to your credit?

It will show on your credit that another bank looked at your credit report but it won’t say that they denied you for a loan.

Probably. When you apply for a loan, the lender will look at your credit history. Their inquiry will show up in a special section of your credit report and other lenders will see this. They won’t know why the other bank pulled your credit, but they’re not stupid and can make an educated guess.
