Loan officer are not licensed mortgage brokers, they are regular Joes trained to do a job.

I would suggest to go for a licensed mortgage broker, wells fargo, countrywide, bank of america, fha certified brokers, etc…

It sounds like he is overwhelmed and does not know what to do.

I have some good references of some people that can help you, contact me and I’ll give your their name and contact number.

Depends whether or not you gave him something enormous to work on, or whether there is something about it that he would have to wait for someone else on, I guess, but all in all that seems pretty unreasonable. I would drop him and go to someone else.

no, that is not normal. in this economy, your loan officer should be happy to have your business…especially if you have good credit. i might be tempted to go with someone else, but you should probably think about reporting him to his broker.
