You should take your settlement and start to pay of the one that are the oldest accounts. Contact a credit specialist for more advice. Your local bank should have one free of charge for depositors.

…”immediately”…? you can’t. (it takes time) and a lot of “pay up and pay back”) or wait out the 7 to 10 years for it to disappear from your credit report(s)…

It sounds like you’ve been contacted by credit reporting agencies. Start there. If you don’t have their info then you should get a free credit report which would give you the contact info of the companies you need to contact. BTW Congrats on making a great decision to pay off what you owe. Very proud of you right now. Contact me if you need further assistance on how to get this resolved. Good luck!

The person who told you to wait 7 years is a moron. You obviously want to clean up your act, great for you. Your credit reports should have the contact information you need. Ask about a reduction in your bill if you pay in full. That might help you save a little bit of money. Good luck!

You can do this yourself and do not need to hire anybody to repair your credit. Our law firm created a free video on how to and offers all the sample forms including how to

settle the debt the correct way.
