How much is a speeding ticket for going 85 in a 65 in California?
I was heading northbound on the 101 yesterday evening and got ticketed by a Santa Maria police officer for going 85 in a 65 zone. I have a good driving record what should I expect to pay and how does it work?

What is the freezing point depression when 85.3 grams of oxygen is dissolved in 1500g of water? Kf for water is 1.86 degrees C/m.

A quick explanation would be really helpful, thank you.

    About $ 340.

    You should pay the ticket and request traffic school, which will keep it off your record.

    I am assuming that the oxygen does dissolve in water at the concentration indicated ??

    moles of O2 in 85.3 g = 85.3 / 32 = 2.67 moles

    these are dissolved in 1500 ml so moles / kg = 2.67 x 1000 / 1500 = 1.78 moles of O2 / kg of solution

    ΔTf = Kf · m

    ΔTf = 1.86 x 1.78 x 1 = 3.31

    the solution freezes at – 3.31 degrees C
