How do other real estate closing agents, settlement agents etc woo new RE Agents & Loan officers to their co?

I own a small real estate settlement office in VA and was wondering how other offices get & retain new business? Most real estate agencies & mortgage companies now own their title companies and it is really making it hard for us little guys.

    I am an LO and RE Agent. The atty that I use almost exclusively, had a couple of reps that they sent out to us on a regular basis. She was very attractive and always a pleasure to be around. She would befriend the LOs and ask us to give her office a try. I did and the service was so great that I use them all the time now. However, the service is what sold me. Plus she would take us out to lunch occasionally. LOs love free food!

    Come up with a plan. Ask your self why would someone use my company and it’s services? Once you get that cleared up. Solicit Solicit, Solicit. There is business everywhere, you just have to find it. Take these people to lunch, bug them every day until you get a shot. Remember if you make them your friend you will get business and if your sevice is good they will come back.
    (find out which Mortgage Companies and Real Estate Companies don’t have this service in your area. call them. Show up.) Good Luck!
