Home refinance loan question?

Deal Score0

My fiance bought a house and her mother signed. He now wants his name removed from the mortgage because he says he can not get a mortgage is likely because of his name. I have no problem co-authoring, I have decent credit, but I do not work, because I’m pregnant. We pulled the old mortgage statements, and discovered that his mother had paid the mortgage each month. (She gave him money and he had to go out and pay for). Are all these factors keep him refinancing. They said when applied alone, it does not qualify for a loan. Is it possible for me to co-sign with no income or do I try to find something part time (my father owns a home business) and use tuluna.seal is the difference between child and the father of the groom, none of these comments, please understand that there is no money in my personal life.

You don’t sign loans for people who you aren’t married to.
It does not matter that he is your baby’s daddy.

There is no way for you to help him anyway. To qualify for a mortgage you need at least 2 years of adequate income in a stable job or the same industry. You don’t have that.

His mom might want off the mortgage but there is nothing he can do to take her off the mortgage. Since she is paying late, he should pay the mortgage directly to the mortgage company.

He needs more income to find a new mortgage. You have no income nor are you fully employed for 2 yrs or more. You may need to have dad cosign

Sorry, but you cannot help him if you are unemployed. You would need 2 years of employment history and be able to show income from that job to cosign with him.

Even IF you had a job, he might have a hard time refinancing if his mom has been paying late on this mortgage. She pretty much dug her own hole here by paying it late, and causing HIS credit to plummet due to late pays!
