did not mortgage modification?

Deal Score0

I have a mortgage to Wells Fargo, and fell three months behind, they told me that I pre-qualify for a loan modification, a deposit of $ 900 I am a little worried because I have only pre-qualified, and it takes 45 days to completely get where I don ‘t, I’m going back to 900, but every few months and then I’ll probably go crowd at that time. My question is, have all done this before and what was the outcome and process.

If you’re going through Wells Fargo directly you’re probably okay. If it’s a modification company, check it out first. The company needs to be licensed. If the company states they are back by an attorney, ask to speak to the attorney. If you can’t speak to the attorney, run.

I don’t know why WFB would be asking for $ 900 up front, so my guess is, you’re dealing with a modification company. Call WFB directly, ask for their modification department.

I lost my job in August 08 and right away I sent a hardship letter to Wells Fargo Mitigation Department explaining my situation. I told them that I can remain current but I fear I would miss a payment within 2 months if didn’t get a new job, and that I wanted to work out a plan to avoid foreclosure. I have perfect credit.

I called EVERY WEEK since then and have made every payment on time and they just told me they’d get back to me and to “keep calling” . Well I finally got an answer today, they said there is nothing they can do until I’m 90 days past due. So much for being responsible and trying to work out a situation BEFORE I go into default. The man on the phone told me there are other more crucial cases and I should get off the pot and get back to work. Seriously, he said this.

I now have no money as I’ve used all of my savings to stay current. I could have been trying to work something else out but now have no options. Wells Fargo is a horrible business and their short-term thinking will eventually catch up to them.
