can they deduct my late mortgage payment from my income return?

I am behind on my mortgage, can the mortgage company deduct it from my income return? I’ve heard the do that to child support, just wondering if they do as well with mortgages.
Loan with WF thru VA

I’m just wondering if there is anyone out there who has been late with their mortgage payment after a loan modification? and if so, how did your bank handle it? My bank considers you late after the 15th of the month, but doesnt report anything negatively to the credit bureau until after 30 days late.
good lord @ all the answers, Im not looking for credit help, I might be late this month only on my payment just wanted to see if anyone else had that same situation

No. Private debts cannot be recovered via offset of a tax refund.

Your bank is treating it per industry standards for ANY mortgage. There is nothing unique about your bank’s handling of that.
