Can I appeal my lease on my vehicle?

Deal Score0

I leased a new Altima about a month ago, and my credit score was at a Tier 3 level. I sent letters to the agencies which haven’t reported the fix to the credit bureaus after a mistake they made as well as the three credit bureaus, and have repaired my credit back to a high Tier 2, almost Tier 1. I pay $ 438.00 a month for my 39 month lease. Is it possible to go back to the dealer or contact Nissan Financial and ‘appeal’ my lease or have it re-leased with my new credit score and bring down the payments?

    Nope.

You already signed the papers and the loan was approved.

Try this before buying the next time…38 months from now.

What if your score goes back down in the future, are you going to appeal the lease then so you pay them more? No? Didn’t think so. The lease was executed at a certain point in time and that’s how it will remain for the term of the contract.

Sorry but it is not possible to change the terms of a lease, or loan, after the contract has been signed. Ending the lease and re-leasing is not an option.

Are you sure you got a bad lease money factor? Maybe you didn’t. Here’s an explanation of money factor so that you can check it yourself:

You can be pleased with the idea that if you make all your payments on time, you will probably be a solid Tier 1 by the end of the lease.
