Bank of America or Wachovia? Mortgage?

Deal Score0

I work for Wachovia and my fiancee and I are looking for a house. We will explore an FHA loan, but I do not know who to go with. When I go to my employers (Wachovia), will I get a discount, and the filing fee is agitated. The only thing is that I go through them nervous because of all the crap they go on … they were under willen.Ich to buy a mortgage bank for the Petes have examined both sets and they seem to be the same. Has anyone had experience with both sides?

Wachovia has been in trouble for some time, but if they are still making loans and you can save money then I would probably go with them for the savings. No matter what happens to the bank someone will buy the loan.

Here is my experience with Bank of America. We had a credit card with them and I put it up so we could pay it off.It wasn’t maxed or anything but it had more on it than I wanted. When I needed to use it and we got our next statement our interest rate went from 8% to almost 22%.When I called them they said they sent us a letter saying if we used the card the rate would go up due to inactivity.B.S.We never got a letter so we filed a complaint, and I don’t remember the agency but 6 months later they replied basically saying we believe B.of A.Gee,what a surprise. We ended up rolling over the balance to the one other card we have and I wouldn’t do business with them if they turned honest! There’s my 2 cents.
